This is an embossed resist image in the background, that I used a few different stamps including the baroque wheel and allscollops set. The on board blooms and supernova glitter really gave this card some sparkle.
This is my 'in the night garden' website card. The colours and design were so much like Thoughts and Prayers that I had to make a card.

This is an Inspired by Nature card with the butterfly out of Dreams ju Jour. The colours are Ballet Blue, Not Quite Navy and Ridinghood Red.

Christmas in July

For my Christmas in July workshop, I was able to play with the I Wish scrappin' Kit to make decorations for the table. These were fun and easy to create, and will definitely help make any Christmas table festive once Christmas arrives.

With the double sided paper and stickers I was able to make these coasters, placecards, napkin rings, stars and even decorate a candle.

Christmas in July

Winter Post. I just love this set! This was a cased card using Baja breeze, Choc chip and Holiday Treasures DS paper.
Snow Swirled, Baroque Border wheel. I just had to add the reindeer that I didn't use from the Winter Post set. The colours are Close to cocoa, sahara sand, baja breeze and kiwi kiss DS paper.

Holiday Lineup. I have been so inspired and loved everyones work that I had time to look at while recuperating. So this is another cased card, except that I used Tempting turquoise with the Ridinghood red, and the retired Bali Breeze DS paper. The ski slope DS paper will be here soon, when the Spring Mini launches in August! The snowmen really pop as you colour. I used inks and blender pen.

Spotlight on Christmas. This is a quick easy card using your punches. The colours are Ridinghood red, Choc chip, So safron from Winter Knot DS paper, Baja Breeze DS paper, Holdiay Treasures DS paper.

Here is the new Trendy Trees set, which as I was unable to attend the National Conference in Canberra and get free, I just had to buy! Oh well. I'm sure the others in my team will bring back lots of great ideas for us all. The top is using the new in colours Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango and Choc Chip. Below is a simple and quick card on Whisper White Stamped with the polka dot background in Kiwi Kiss and Choc Chip.

Here is a Frame and Card I made for Mother's Day using the Dreams de Jour set and the deleted Love bird rubons, Pink pirouette striped ribbon, pretties kit, and the beautiful new button Bouquet Designer Buttons.

I was experimenting with the faux marble technique and came up with this card using the Bloom Away set and Sanded stamp. The background was stamped and then spritzed to get the washed look. Colours were Kiwi Kiss and Choc chip.

Christmas Cards
I made A few different versions of this card using different sets. The bases were Soft Sky, River Rock scollops, Purely pomegranite, and Holiday Harmony paper. The City of David and Crazy for Christmas sets were used in these two.

Criss Cross Card
This is a card I cased off Split-coast Stampers, using the Dashing papers and Season of Joy set. The colours are Real Red, Always Artichoke, River Rock; the Round Tab punch gives you the tab to slide insert out.

BBQ Time
This is a novelty slide card using the It's BBQ Time set, and Background sampler set. The colours are Close to Cocoa, Mellow Moss, Purely Pomegranite, Always Artichoke. The images are coloured direct with the markers. The double sided paper is Holiday Harmony, and Mellow Moss gingham ribbon.

Snappy Birthday
This fun card uses the Crab and Co. set using markers and blender pens to colour the images. It is best to use watercolour paper to do this so the paper surface doesn't rip. The by the Sea wheel in Bravo burgundy on Close to Cocoa gave our beach and the ocean was punched out half circles and glitter on glue on the top caps

Watercolouring with the crayons and aqua painter is a fun easy way of adding colour to your stamped images. It brings out the artist in us all. The Natural Beauty set is good for this. I used the Paisley background stamp, and the words out of the Always set. The colours are Cool Caribbean, Chocolate Chip, and Creamy Caramel ( had to play with last years cool caribbean again as I was in withdraws)

This is the Emerging colours technique. After stamping randomly the flowers from the Fabulous Flowers set, the Dahlia is clear embossed over the top and then sponged with a darker colour. I used the Brocade Basics embossed with white powder on the Brillant blue, and layered onto the Ballet Blue card. The Sweet Serendipity words, large oval,1 1/4" circle and designer label punchs were also used.

Spottlighting is a technique where you colour only a portion of a stamped image. Usually by adding a layered tag. I've used the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" punches to make a coloured ring to glue around the edge of the punched coloured image to make it like a tag. Colouring and adding crystal effects also makes great faux brads. The colours are Purely Pomegranate, Orchid Opulence, Choc chip, and Pumpkin Pie. The white craft ink was used to Stamp the Wonderful Favourites words.

Bodacious has always been one of my favourite sets. Here it is used with the Kissing technique, inking the bodacious flower with Barely Banana ink, then stamping it onto to the Floral background stamp inked in Regal Rose, and again onto the cardstock. The Floral background was also used with the Blush Blossom in the background. Groovy Guava and Wild Wasabi were the other colours used. The combination of colours is a bit sherbet-like. Yum! Well I think so. I have daubbed a lot of the edges in this one to soften the effect. The tag is from the It's all Good set.
